Even though I had learnt how to ride bicycle, I was not able to use bicycle for going school. My father had only one bicycle which he was using to go to school. He is a teacher. I remember bicycle company name was Avon or Hero.
As soon as I come from school, I would take the bicycle and run away provided my father had come back to home. Racing bicycle with other lad in my village, running here and there, exploring things, these all I was doing whenever I had privilege to ride bike.
Sometimes I had a tough time too with bicycle: Sometimes I would go with my bike side-by-side carrying a big package. In the evening carry big bag of hey to barn. Carry wheat from market to home.
After my high school, I went to nearest city, Patna. It was year 1998. I bought a second hand BSA bicycle. I used the bike for going tuition, going college, meeting with friends. It was ok to use bicycle as distance between my room and college was not more than 10km.
I had used the BSA bike for four year till 2001.
In 2002, I went to Bangalore for my further study. I felt handicapped without my bicycle. But soon after few days I became used to BMTC bus. I saw only Kids were using bicycle to play with their small bike. I was thinking by looking at them.. there is no half-peddle here.
I almost forget about my biking. I almost spent four years without bike (bicycle). After that I was not in category of young.. I had completed my master degree. and I had started working as a engineer.
